All classes in the program are in one of three formats: fully online with live class sessions, fully online with asynchronous class modules, or half online and half in person. The University of New Mexico’s online campus offers a series of accelerated asynchronous programs. One of the most notable is the school’s bachelor’s degree in community health education, offered to students who have already earned general education and prerequisite credits. As with all the school’s accelerated degrees, community health education students take courses in an eight-week format. They can start the program at any time during the year and simply take prerecorded online modules whenever it works for them.
